Well, to be quite honest, it’s been a challenging week here for me for a variety of reasons, but still, God is good and He continues to “show up” and meet me in my (sometimes extreme) neediness. Truly He is mindful that we are “but dust.” I’m the one who is so surprised, frustrated and dismayed by my weakness, not Him.
In the midst of some challenging times? You are loved and accepted, right where you are, my friend. It’s a lesson I’m continuing to learn in the trenches here.
I have continued to enjoy my early morning workouts. It’s pretty much a necessity that I get up early in the current heat and humidity that we have, but I’m such a morning person that I *love* getting out early and catching the sunrise anyway.
Here are a few highlights from my rides this past week:
The kids and I have also had a blast doing some more kayaking and SUP-ing! Getting out on the water is so relaxing.
Check out Tim, so proud to go solo in one of the kayaks! Can you believe that my “baby” is 8 years old now?! What?!
While I’m thinking about it, I also want to let you know that I’ve noticed some problems with Feedburner, the service I was using to deliver my blog posts via email, for those who signed up. I’ve switched to MailChimp and have transferred you information, if you have already signed up.
I’ve still got a lot to learn about MailChimp, so please bear with me as I get everything figured out. If you haven’t yet signed up, and would like to receive my blog posts in your email as I publish them, there is a form on the right side of this page (on my website) where you can enter your info. No spam, I promise! 🙂
If you received this blog post in your email inbox, then not only are you already signed up, but I also figured out at least the basics of MailChimp! Score!
Additionally, I’ve updated and reorganized my Abuse Recovery page. I hope that it is a helpful resource.
I’ve got a few things that I’ve been thinking about and am hoping to share with you here next week, but in the meantime, here are a few articles that I enjoyed recently.
